What is RxOps?

RxOps is a project designed for pharmacists as well as other medical professionals. It provides carefully prepared and edited instructions for AI.

RxOps takes the patient data you enter (pharmacotherapy and brief notes about medical history without details that could identify the patient) and inserts it into a carefully prepared system prompt—a template that guides the AI appropriately. Data entry is simplified through integrated data from the Slovak ŠÚKL registry and an interactive, intuitive dialogue.

Today’s frontier models can use a good prompt to find and apply high-quality, relevant sources on their own. RxOps itself does not provide a direct chat with AI—it is a workspace for entering data and creating a high-quality prompt that users can then take to a subscription AI tool they trust and are familiar with, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

The complete prompt is presented transparently, giving the professional full control over what they provide to the AI.

Common questions

01What does RxOps do, and who is responsible for the result?

RxOps is a tool for creating a high-quality AI prompt. The prompt user is responsible for guiding the subsequent conversation and, above all, for the final output.

02What information must I never enter into the prompt?

Never enter personal or other identifying information about the patient or any other person or entity—for example, the name of a specific pharmacy, physician, or workplace. Include only the clinical information necessary for the professional task; in particular, omit the patient’s name, national identification number, and address.

03Does RxOps store the data from my case?

RxOps does not store any user-entered case data in its infrastructure. Selected medicines, dosing, clinical notes, and settings live exclusively in your current browser tab so they can be restored after a reload; closing the tab ends this session. Only medicine search text is sent to the RxOps server. The full prompt is transferred to an external service only when you explicitly open it in ChatGPT or paste it into another AI tool.

04Which AI tool can I use?

The choice is yours. You can open the prompt directly in ChatGPT or transfer it to Claude, Gemini, or another tool that meets your professional and organizational requirements.

05What happens when I select “Open in ChatGPT”?

ChatGPT opens in a new tab and the entire displayed prompt is transferred to that service in a new chat, ready to send. ChatGPT does not send it automatically. The browser’s current sign-in is used, and the link containing the prompt may remain in browser history.

06Do I have to re-enter data when I change tools?

No. You can switch between tools and languages without entering the data again. The unfinished case is also restored after a reload in the same tab; use Export for longer-lived storage.

About me

PharmDr. Jozef Kováč

Software engineer and pharmacist

RxOps began as a hobby project at the intersection of software engineering and pharmacy. I am working to translate principles proven in AI-assisted software development into practical, safe tools for pharmacists’ everyday work.

I dream of a future in which pharmacists and AI work together to provide healthcare of a substantially higher quality, alongside real, in-person professional consultation. That consultation is vital in a pharmacy and gives patients not only valuable information, but often also human connection and encouragement, which also have the potential to heal.
